Anoushka Shankar is a Brit-American sitar player and music artist. She was also the first and youngest woman to win the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Shakar is a promising young emerging superstar on the Indian Sitar, is Anoushka. She is both the daughter and student of Ravi Shankar. Her childhood was spent bouncing around from London to New Delhi. When she was only 13 the first time she performed in New Delhi took place. She has also acted in a number of films. In 2003, she was in the movie Dance Like a Man where she plays the role of a teenage Bharat Natyam dancer. The career of Anoushka Shankar is in the process of developing and she'll continue to accomplish many amazing things in the coming years.
