Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has left a mark across the screens. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. Soon after she left Ohio to move to Texas and pursued her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played various roles ranging from local independent films to international commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she was a fan of acting. After that, she relocated in New York in 2001 and got her first acting job in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the beginning of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was the short-lived drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most well-known for is the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. Her next role was on the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received several nominations in the character's honor including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is presented to outstanding performers in the drama show. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time later.
