Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a stand-up comedian and actor known for her dry sense of humor. She is April Ludgate, a character on the television show Parks and Recreation. After doing improv and sketch comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza made her web series debut through The Jeannie Tate Show. In her later career she became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. We should celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) as well as David Plaza (a financial specialist), was born on Wilmington Delaware. Her father is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza has graduated from the Catholic All-Girls' School in 2002. In 2006. She graduated from Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was the president of her student body at her high school and was a part of Wilmington Drama League productions during her time as a senior. Plaza had a stroke 2004 when she was studying at a the college. The stroke caused her to develop expressive aphasia, and experienced an ephemeral period of the paralysis. She's now completely recovered. Plaza has been performing improv comedy as well as sketches at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. The New York location has seen Plaza performed stand-up comedians at The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza appeared in the role of Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and the first episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. In CollegeHumor Troopers, she portrayed the satirical sci-fi character the Princess. in 2014, Plaza debuted on saxophone in the Cassorla film Bona Fide. The first time she appeared was in Father John's Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. While she was Hawaiian Coffee, she appeared on HarmonQuest's HarmonQuest 2016 as a Gnome. In the same year, she played Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. television series Criminal Minds. The role of the actress was resurrected by her in season 12 of the show. In the following year, it was announced that Plaza would appear in the indie film An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
